Micheal Vick: potential Vonage spokesman?

I know, I had the same disgusted reaction when I read the headline of the Motley Fool article below.

However, in reading the article, the brilliance in the suggestion is its simplicity. Sometimes the best selling strategy is the most horrifying one; telling the truth, or some variation of it Now, obviously paying Micheal Vick to promote anything of yours at this moment is tantamount to suicide and sure to induce censureship from the American public. But knowing America's fickle nature, I am pretty sure Vick will go trough some sort of social or spiritual "rehab" and then be on the September cover of People magazine detailing how he found god and in the process exorcised the demons of an abusive upbringing.

Financial Site Profiles Key Vonage Supplier

The financial news and analysis website Blogging Stocks has an interesting profile of a Los Angeles-based company called PeopleSupport.

You might be wondering what PeopleSupport has to do with Vonage. Fair question.

"More and more businesses are finding that it can pay to outsource their telephone and Internet customer interface requirements to firms set up to efficiently handle such functions," writes Larry Schutts. "One such outfit is headquartered in Los Angeles, but operates from shops overseas.

"PeopleSupport provides business process outsourcing (BPO) services from facilities in the Philippines," he points out. "Company personnel handle customer service calls, technical support questions, marketing campaigns and collections. The firm also transcribes voice recordings and captions television content. Services are offered via telephone, e-mail and Web chat. Expedia and Vonage Holdings are major customers."
